CLIENTS

Since starting up A'DAM - alongside working with a range of clients on short-term projects - I also worked for long periods as the in-house Director of Communications for Metabolic and then BYCS.

Here are some of the amazing organisations I have worked with:

Life before A'DAM

After several years as a journalist for national newspapers and magazines in the UK, I worked for two of London's leading PR & Communications agencies. These were: Burson Cohn & Wolfe (named Global Agency of the Year 2019 at SABRE Awards) and Forster Communications (named Consultancy of the Year 2019 at edie Sustainability Leaders Awards).

My former clients at these agencies include:

specialist knowledge

SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE

With deep expertise and strategic approach to all projects, I can support any sector.

But I have also built up specialist knowledge in some of these specific areas:

It is essential that we meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Supporting the transition to a sustainable economy is another passion of mine. In London, I was proud to work at Forster, a communications agency focused solely on social and environmental change and voted as one of the most progressive B-corps worldwide. Through them, I was the PR lead for Forum for the Future, a global systems change sustainability firm, that led me to support their work with a range of high profile businesses and movements. In Amsterdam, I was Director of Communications at Metabolic, another systems firm, helping to build their brand and bring more organizations into the circular economy. I can help tell your business’ sustainability story, as well as position sustainability agents and accelerators as leaders of the new economy.

Businesses must understand that their permission to operate comes only with consent from society. Thankfully, we have moved beyond siloed CSR and are now in the era of Purpose. Over the past decade, I have worked with scores of businesses that understand being a progressive, responsible organization is the only way of ensuring they will be around in the future. I support the B-corp movement and other forms of societal business relations. Through Business in the Community (the Prince of Wales’ responsible business network) I worked for a number of years on campaigns that supported mental health, and gender, race and age equality. This involved working with businesses including Mars, BT, M&S, American Express, Bupa, and Unilever, and overseeing communications for the UK’s annual Responsible Business Awards.

SUSTAINABILITY

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS

Mental health affects all of us, either directly or through the ones we love. 1 in 6 of people reading this sentence will be struggling with mental health issues right now. With my own lived experience of mental health, I am proud to have supported a number of high profile campaigns to break the stigma and to get people to act. Businesses particularly have an opportunity and responsibility to help. Through Business in the Community, and working with Public Health England, CIPD, Mind, Time to Change and a number of major businesses, I have led report writing, campaign launches (at the UK government) and media outreach. It’s time we all supported better mental health.

Cycling has been a big part of my life for many years. I have volunteered for various UK cycling bodies, been involved in nationwide comms campaigns that get more people to cycle and written for a number of cycling magazines. For over three years I have also been a strategic advisor to BYCS, a global non-profit accelerating city cycling culture (also serving for a while as their in-house Director of Communications and Strategy). In this role, I was invited to give a TEDx talk, to speak at the Urban Future Global Conference in Oslo, and I have been quoted in Forbes, Fast Company and the Guardian. I understand cycling culture and the ways that it positively transforms society, making every place happier, healthier and more resilient for the future.
